Tyler is a theatrical tailor and draper based out of Chicago Illinois.  He received his MFA in Costume Technology from The Pennsylvania State University in 2022 and his B.A. in Design and Technology from Ball State in 2015.

During his time at Penn State Tyler studied under an expert theatrical tailor, and used this to inform and guide his own work.  The culmination of his research is entitled: What Suits a Woman Best. His current project involves using CLO to draft historical menswear patterns.  The goal of this project is to become more familiar with the program and to integrate it more fully in his future professional endeavors.

Prior to continuing his education he worked on wardrobe crews and as a free lance stitcher around Chicago.  Notable theaters include: Chicago Shakespeare Theater (where he was a staff dresser), Lookingglass Theatre Company, and Emerald City Theatre.
